  • 2-1/2 tps. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk

InstructionsInstructions  Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Beat eggs, add milk , and mix with dry ingredients. Drop by small spoonfuls on boiling chicken gravy , cover tightly, and cook 15 minutes. The cover must not be removed while the dumplings are cooking, for if the steam escapes they will not be light. Serve with broccoli or other green vegetable, gelatin vegetable salad, date and nut pudding.
