Instructions
Using a saucepan, caramelize sugar to a golden brown;pour into a 9 X5 3-inch (6 cup) loaf pan. Spread evenly over bottom of pan.In a sauce pan combine prepared flan,cornstarch and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in the milk,apricot brandy,and vanilla. Cook over low heat to a full boil,stirring constantly,to prevent sticking Mixture will be thin. It thickens as it cools. Add fruit cocktail;pour into prepared pan. Place slice of pound cake on top,covering the entire surface. Chill until set. Unmold and serve.
