  • 6 slices slices fish ( lapulapu, tanguingue or apahap)
  • 2 tsps. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 tbsps. butter
  • 4 tbsps. minced onion
  • 2 tbsps. flour
  • 2 cups. beer
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 garlic,cloves
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

InstructionsInstructions  Wash and dry the fish; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Melt the butter in a deep skillet; saute the onion fro 5 minutes. Add the flour, stirring until golden. Gradually add the beer, stirring constantly to the boiling point. Arrange the fish in the sauce and add sugar and garlic cloves. Cover loosely and cook over low heat 30 minutes. Transfer the fish to a platter; stir the lemon juice into the sauce. Taste for seasoning and pour over the fish.
